Privacy policy

PharmaConnect is a WhatsApp ordering and reminder service that pharmacies offer to their own customers. This policy explains what personal data we collect through that service and through this website, why, and how it is protected. It is provided by Syntegrate Consulting (FZE) (“PharmaConnect”, “we”) on behalf of the pharmacies that use it.

Your pharmacy is the party you have a direct relationship with, and it is responsible for the products and advice it provides. PharmaConnect provides the technology that carries your messages, orders and reminders between you and your pharmacy. PharmaConnect does not dispense medicines, diagnose or give medical advice.

What we collect

• Your name and WhatsApp phone number.
• Your preferred language and your pharmacy.
• Messages you send, including images (for example a photo of a prescription or of medicine packaging).
• Orders you place (items, quantities and notes), and delivery details if you choose delivery.
• Medication reminders and call back requests.
• Your skin profile (skin type, age range and main concern), only if you agree to save it. Nothing about pregnancy, allergies or health is saved in it.
• Records of your consent to be contacted on WhatsApp.

How we use it

• To take your orders, pass them to your pharmacy and answer your questions.
• To send reminders and notices you have asked for or agreed to.
• To send order updates and, where you have agreed, marketing messages from your pharmacy.
• To alert your pharmacy if you describe an emergency.
• To keep the service secure and working correctly.

Medicine names and health-related messages are health information. We treat this data with particular care and share it with the service providers below only where necessary to run the service. We do not sell personal data.

Who else sees your data

Your pharmacy sees your orders and messages. We use the following providers to run PharmaConnect. None of them may use your data for their own purposes.

• Meta (WhatsApp Business Platform): carries every message between you and your pharmacy.
• Anthropic: helps interpret the text and images you send, so we can respond correctly. Your phone number and account identifiers are not shared with Anthropic.
• Supabase: hosts our database, in the United Kingdom (London).
• Railway: hosts the PharmaConnect application.
• Resend: delivers order notification emails to pharmacy staff.

Your pharmacy’s billing is handled separately through Stripe and never includes your personal or order data.

How long we keep it

We keep your data for as long as your pharmacy uses PharmaConnect to serve you. Saved baskets are removed after 90 days without use, and saved skin profiles after 12 months without use. Records your pharmacy must keep by law, such as dispensing records, are kept for the period its country requires. Otherwise, data is kept until you or your pharmacy asks for it to be deleted. Your choices

• You can opt out of marketing messages at any time, by using the opt-out option in a marketing message or by asking your pharmacy.
• You can ask to forget your saved skin profile at any time, in the chat or at your pharmacy.
• You can ask your pharmacy, or contact us directly, to access, correct or delete your data.

This website

If you book a demo on this website, we receive the details you enter (your name, pharmacy, phone number, email and message) by email, and use them only to reply to you. This website does not use analytics or advertising cookies.
