PharmaConnect supports the relationship between patients and their pharmacist. It takes the customer’s order or request and passes it to their pharmacy. Everything clinical stays with the pharmacist.
What PharmaConnect does
- Takes customers’ orders and requests on WhatsApp, in Arabic or English
- Passes every order to the customer’s pharmacy to review and confirm
- Keeps the customer informed while the pharmacy works on the order
- Helps the pharmacy stay in touch with reminders and notices, with consent
What PharmaConnect does not do
- Dispense, prescribe or supply medicines
- Diagnose symptoms or give medical advice
- Approve prescriptions or substitute a medicine on its own
- Operate a pharmacy
- Take payment or act as the seller
- Act as a delivery app or a marketplace
Prescriptions
A customer can send a photo of a prescription on WhatsApp. The pharmacy’s pharmacist reviews it, decides and fulfils it. PharmaConnect reads the request and routes it; it never makes a clinical decision.
When a customer needs advice
Health questions are for the pharmacist. The customer can ask for a call back at any time, and skin problems that need a professional look are passed to the pharmacist instead of being answered with products.
Urgent situations
If a customer describes an emergency, the chat tells them to call their local emergency number and alerts the pharmacy.
The customer relationship
The customer talks to their own pharmacy, under the pharmacy’s name. PharmaConnect is not a marketplace and does not send the customer to other businesses.
